The first thing you need to understand is that .rar files are not multimedia files, so you regularly can't play them right away. A Rar file is an archive, just like .zip or .tar, that can contain one or more compressed files. You can "extract" those files from the .rar archive and play them in your favorite music/video player.

Right-click the file in question.
Choose "Extract Here". This will put all the contents of the archive file in the same portfolio as the .rar file.
Locate the multimedia files created (.avi, .mpg, .mp3 or similar) and double-click to play.
Special Case : Partial Downloads
Sometimes a video file is split among many smaller Rar files. If you have all the parts you can play it as described above, but what if some files are missing or "broken"? You can still play at least part of the video. To preview the video, effect these steps :
Locate the first of the .rar files. Depending on the version of WinRar used to create them, the first file will either have "part1" in it's name, or it will be the only file with the ".rar" extension (other files will have extensions like ".r01", ".r02" and so on).
Right-click the file and select "Extract Files...". A dialog box will appear.
Tick the checkbox that says "Keep broken files" (it's in the lower left corner).
Click Ok and wait while the files are decompressed. Finally an error message will come up, click Cancel.
Now you have a video file that you can play in any video player that can handle broken files. Windows Media Player isn't always able to do this - I personally recommend the free Vlc media player for this task. You can download it from http://www.videolan.org
Here's an extra tip - sometimes the Vlc player can play Rar files right away, without extracting them first. This depends on the video codec and the compression algorithm used, so it may not work in safe bet cases.

A Display First, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.

There was a time that we were happy with the floppy discs as the warehouse device, despite the miniature space; then came the Cd's, which had a much great warehouse capacity and a decent resolution. There after, Dvd's came into existence. These were much great in resolution as well as the warehouse space. However, these can't be said as the best. The most recent that has come up is the Blu-rayDvd's technology which has wonderful clarity due to the high resolution. These are the ones which are adored these days.
Big banners like Warner Brothers and like are releasing their movies on the Blu-ray discs to have the most of the resolution that a Dvd offers. Clearly, to watch these discs, one need to have a Blu-ray, just like it is needed in case of the normal player. Most recently, the Hd-Dvd technology and this technology were neck to neck, but the Hd-Dvd has been discontinued officially now, leaving this technology to lead the market. Though, both these are almost the same but these would hold dissimilar formats.
Blu Ray Movie Player
These Dvd's are being the recent ones, the Dvd's available to be watched on the Blu-ray would not be the Blu-rayDvd's. This doesn't mean that you need to have a accepted player with the most recent Blu-rayplayer to be able to watch the Dvd's which are not the Blu-ray technology enabled. This electronic gismo options that are available in the market are backward compatible. This means that you could arrange off you old player without a worry and could use this Dvdplayer to play all kinds of Dvd's including the one which are not the Blu-rayDvd's.
